BAS Property Consultants Ltd were delighted to have been instructed by their client, Cambria Automobiles, to provide project management and cost consultancy services for the construction of their flagship combined-brand dealership at Mosquito Way, Hatfield.

The greenfield site—one of the last remaining plots on the Hatfield Business Park—became the new state-of-the-art home for Jaguar Land Rover, Aston Martin and McLaren.

This two-year phased project saw BAS Property Consultants Ltd appointed from the planning stage, through tender, and on to full project management and completion. The team worked closely with each manufacturer, and in the case of Aston Martin and McLaren, played a key role in delivering their significantly revised and newly developed brand identities—making these sites the first of their kind in both the UK and Europe.

During the early stages, the manufacturers’ continually evolving brand requirements demanded a highly collaborative approach between the client, contractor and design team. BAS ensured clear communication and transparency around how proposed changes would affect the works, implementing appropriate mitigation measures to manage programme and cost impacts effectively
