BAS Property Consultants were appointed as Client Project Manager and Cost Consultant for the refurbishment and transformation of a former Rolls-Royce dealership and adjacent used car showroom, delivering a landmark combined Rolls-Royce and Aston Martin dealership. Originally designed to historic Rolls-Royce Corporate Identity standards, the property required a carefully managed transition to meet the latest manufacturer requirements while respecting the constraints of an existing historic building located within a Conservation Area. From initial inception and manufacturer approval through tendering, construction and final fit-out, BAS Property Consultants coordinated the full project team, ensuring seamless communication between client, designers, contractors and dealer-direct fit-out installers. Given the status of the client and the global significance of both brands, the project demanded an exceptionally close and trusted working relationship, with every element of the refurbishment subject to rigorous approval by Rolls-Royce and Aston Martin to achieve full compliance with their new Corporate Identity standards. This prestigious scheme was showcased as the first dealership in the UK to adopt the new Corporate Identities for both manufacturers, adding further complexity and importance to the delivery programme. Alongside the high-end fit-out requirements, the project team successfully navigated the challenges of refurbishing and altering a historic building, balancing modern luxury showroom design with conservation considerations. The result was a six-month programme delivered on time and to an exceptionally high standard, creating one of the most visually striking and refined luxury car dealerships. With a works value of £1.8 million, the completed dealership demonstrates BAS Property Consultants’ ability to deliver complex, high-profile projects for elite clients, achieving full manufacturer compliance while exceeding expectations for quality, detail and execution.
