Sports Hall

Following the successful delivery of the School’s new teaching block, BAS Property Consultants Ltd were appointed to design and project manage the construction of the School’s new sports facility.

Acting as Lead Consultant, BAS assembled and coordinated a full multidisciplinary design team, including structural and civil engineers, mechanical and electrical consultants, and BREEAM specialists.

The new sports hall was constructed on the existing hard-standing netball courts and provided a high-quality, modern facility tailored to the School’s expanding needs. The building included a versatile multi-use sports hall designed to accommodate netball, badminton, basketball, handball, volleyball and five-a-side football. Supporting spaces comprised male and female changing and toilet facilities, accessible changing and WCs, a reception and office area, staff facilities, equipment storage, and a dedicated gym.

Externally, the works also included the construction of new ramps and steps to improve access, along with the resurfacing of the retained netball court.

The project was successfully completed, delivering a functional, compliant and future-ready sports facility for the School’s students, staff and wider community.
