BAS Property Consultants were appointed to provide Project Management, Contract Administration and Health & Safety advisory services for the refurbishment of the tennis courts at Poole High School in Dorset. The existing courts had deteriorated significantly, with worn surfaces, debris build-up and reduced playability affecting their use. BAS reviewed the condition of the courts and established a clear scope of works to deliver a practical and cost-effective refurbishment. We managed the tender process from issue through to contractor appointment, providing detailed analysis and reporting to support informed decision-making and ensure cost certainty. Pre-start meetings were coordinated to align the project team, confirm programme and responsibilities, and ensure the project was set up correctly prior to works commencing on site. Health & Safety was managed proactively throughout, with all documentation prepared in advance to ensure compliance and a structured, safe approach to delivery within a live school environment. The completed refurbishment has transformed the courts into a durable, high-quality, multi-use sports facility, significantly improving both playability and appearance. The new surface provides a clean, modern finish designed for long-term use.
